G read this awesome book that won a Caldecott medal recently.

Quite a clever book, really! I recommend it for kids of all ages!

The illustrations are incredible and the story is captivating.

The toothfairy came to our house last week...

and she brought money for my little honey!

On a side note... my Bible study/prayer group has been reading The Life You've Always Wanted by John Ortberg. Chapter 5 talks about living an "unhurried life".

The Crafty Crow had a link to Mama Merit Badges. I think these are hilarious and I need to have them. I was a Girl Scout and appreciate how hard it can be to earn merit badges! I think Crafty Crow may be giving some away! Let's hope I win~

New life...

My brother and his wife welcomed a new baby about a month ago. He is such a little bundle of cuddly joy. My hubby has a way with babies and this sweet nephew of ours loves his uncle.

It is so great to have a new baby at Easter. It reminds me that our Lord is gracious and gives us new life... our sins can be forgiven and we can be reborn!

Easter

We enjoyed an afternoon with my brother and his family Easter weekend. The kids dyed dozens of eggs. The dads hid dozens of plastic eggs for the big hunt. We ate dozens of strawberries in our delicious shortcake dessert. The kids stole dozens of jellybeans from the candy jar. And I can say, that I have truly enjoyed "dozens" of Easters. I think it's my favorite holiday!

I am so thankful for all the rich blessings from our Lord!

More Art Museum...

This was interactive art.

The girls could jump on bubble images projected onto the floor and they would "pop".

Really cool.

This piece of artwork was very "dimensional"; you walked through it. Cool, but creepy.
Loved the chairs. I collect miniature chairs and always love an interesting display of life-size chairs. Too bad I couldn't sit on any of them.
